Expert 360 Tummy Tuck in Dubai
360 Tummy Tuck And Lower Body Lift In Dubai
“Doctor, the loose skin is not just on my tummy. Even my sides and my back are sagging, and my butts are sagging and empty as well. I feel I need something for the front and back both.”
A tummy tuck treats the front of the abdomen. An extended tummy tuck reaches further into the sides. But some patients, particularly after major weight loss, have a continuous belt of loose skin running around the abdomen, flanks, lower back and buttocks.
A 360 tummy tuck — also called a circumferential tummy tuck, belt lipectomy or lower body lift — removes that loose tissue right around the lower torso. It improves the abdomen and sides, and lifts the lower back, the buttocks and, in selected patients, the outer thighs.
What Is A 360 Tummy Tuck?
“360 tummy tuck” is what patients call it. Surgically, it's a lower body lift or a belt lipectomy — which name applies depends on how much tissue comes out and which lower-body areas get lifted. The scar runs around the lower torso: at the front it behaves like a tummy tuck; at the sides and back it removes loose skin and lifts the tissues of the lower back and buttocks.
It can improve the lower and central abdomen, the flanks and lateral waist, lower-back skin rolls, drooping buttocks through the lifting effect, selected outer-thigh looseness, the mons pubis, and abdominal muscle separation where present. It lifts the buttocks — it doesn't add volume to them.
How It Compares? Lipo 360 and Extended Tummy Tuck
| Procedure | What It Removes | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| Lipo 360 | Fat Around The Torso | Good Skin Quality With Circumferential Fat |
| 360 Tummy Tuck / LBL | Loose Skin & Tissue Around The Lower Torso | Circumferential Skin Laxity, Often After Major Weight Loss |
| Combined Contouring | Loose Skin Plus Selected Residual Fat | Patients Needing Excision + Carefully Planned Liposuction |
Lipo 360 cannot remove a hanging belt of skin. A lower body lift is an excisional operation — it isn't liposuction with a bigger budget.
| Extended Tummy Tuck | 360 Tummy Tuck / LBL | |
|---|---|---|
| Skin Excess | Front And Sides | Front, Sides And Lower Back |
| Scar | Long Low Scar Toward The Hips | Circumferential Scar Around The Lower Torso |
| Buttock Effect | Limited | Lifts Lower-Back And Buttock Tissues |
| Typical Patient | Post-Pregnancy / Moderate Lateral Laxity | Massive-Weight-Loss Patient With A Belt Of Loose Skin |
| Positioning | Usually Mainly Supine | Repositioning To Treat Back And Front |

Why Choose Dr. Hardik Ganatra for Lower Body Lift?
A lower body lift is the clearest example of why body contouring has to be planned in three dimensions. The abdomen, flanks, lower back and buttocks all pull on one another. Take too much in one area or stop too early in another, and the imbalance shows.
I work exclusively in body contouring, and more than half of my work is revision and correction. As a recreational natural bodybuilder, i know how the waist, lower back and gluteal area should relate in a fit physique, and how that relationship changes once someone moves.
Safe surgery, meaningful contour improvement, structured post-operative care and honest staging. I'd rather split a complex transformation into safe stages than sell you an unsafe all-in-one.
Are You A Good Candidate?
A 360 tummy tuck is usually the right operation for:
- Post-bariatric patients with skin excess right around the torso
- Patients after major weight loss, natural or medication-assisted
- Patients with abdominal looseness plus lower-back rolls and drooping buttocks
- Patients whose loose skin goes beyond what an extended tummy tuck can reach
- Patients with a belt-like fold around the waist, or an incomplete front-only correction
“i lost the weight, but i still feel like i'm wearing the skin of my old body.”
Before Your Surgery
Everything starts with detailed standing markings around the full torso — that's how the belt of skin and the buttock and back looseness are truly assessed. At consultation i also decide whether this should be one operation or staged.
A lower body lift is a powerful operation, and it's not an excuse to bolt every possible procedure onto one anaesthetic. Post-bariatric patients often carry nutritional deficiencies, anaemia, residual obesity or medical conditions that push the risk up. So i assess whether one operation or staged surgery is genuinely safer. Finishing the whole transformation in a single day is not the goal — finishing it safely is.
How I Perform The Procedure
- Detailed standing markings around the full torso
- General anaesthesia, with careful positioning and pressure protection
- The back and buttock component first: the planned belt of skin comes out and the lower tissues are lifted
- The patient is repositioned for the abdominal component
- The abdominal wall is repaired where needed, and the belly button and mons are balanced
- The circumferential closure is completed in layers, with drains and compression as needed
Recovery & Aftercare
Recovery is more demanding than a standard tummy tuck, because the incision travels around the body and affects sitting, standing, turning and sleeping. You need reliable help at home, and a realistic expectation that normal movement comes back slowly.
- One night in hospital, longer if medically indicated
- Early assisted walking, for circulation and clot prevention
- Desk work usually takes around 2–3 weeks, sometimes longer
- Compression for 6–8 weeks
- Sitting and sleeping positions worked out individually, to protect both the front and back closures
- Exercise and lifting only once the wounds are stable and you've been cleared
It’s a very complex surgery, and the risks are greater than those associated with a regular tummy tuck.
- Delayed wound healing
- Seroma
- Scar widening
- Asymmetry
- Skin compromise
- Infection
- Blood clots
- Contour differences
- The possibility of needing revision
It lifts the buttocks but will not restore lost buttock volume.

Frequently Asked Questions About 360 Tummy Tuck
Is a 360 tummy tuck the same as lipo 360?
No. Lipo 360 removes fat. A 360 tummy tuck removes loose skin around the lower torso, and comes with a scar that goes all the way around.
Does it lift the buttocks?
Yes. The back component lifts the lower-back and buttock tissues. It won’t restore volume that’s already gone.
Will the scar go all the way around?
Yes. The scar is circumferential because the loose skin is circumferential.
Who is the best candidate?
A patient at a stable weight with loose skin around the abdomen, flanks and lower back, most often after major weight loss.
Can it be combined with liposuction?
Selected residual fat can be treated, but liposuction has to be planned carefully around large skin flaps and total operating time.
How long before i can work?
Most patients need at least 2–3 weeks before desk work, and longer for physically demanding jobs.
Will i need help at home?
Yes. Reliable help matters in the early weeks, because sitting, turning, dressing and wound care are all genuinely difficult at first.
Can it correct outer-thigh looseness?
It gives some lift to the outer thigh, though how much depends on the skin pattern. It doesn’t necessarily replace a dedicated thigh lift.
